Kelly Kozak is a seasoned financial management professional with over 20 years of experience across diverse industries, including economic development, aviation, gaming, healthcare, and oil and gas. Before joining Kitsaki, Kelly held senior roles with organizations such as Whitecap Dakota Nation, WestJet, SIGA, Niska Gas, and TransAlta.
Kelly holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). He also brings multiple leadership certifications and a strong track record in financial reporting (US and Canadian GAAP), strategic cost analysis, budgeting, and internal controls.
As a respected team leader, Kelly is known for his strategic thinking, analytical mindset, and ability to coach and inspire high-performing teams. His leadership style emphasizes collaboration, change management, and building effective working relationships. He also brings valuable experience in IT oversight, enterprise risk management, and mergers and acquisitions.
Outside of work, Kelly enjoys spending time at the rink supporting his son, traveling, and volunteering in the community.
