Kitsaki Management demonstrated its deep commitment to youth, community development, and Indigenous sportsmanship by fundraising more than $1 million to support the successful hosting of the Tony Cote Summer Games in La Ronge. The Games, which attracted over 5,000 athletes, coaches, and spectators from across Saskatchewan, provided substantial economic benefits to La Ronge and surrounding areas, and showcased Kitsaki’s role as a leading community partner.
Beyond financial sponsorship, Kitsaki staff volunteered throughout the event, dedicating their time and energy to ensuring the Games ran smoothly.
“Our involvement in the Tony Cote Summer Games goes beyond financial support,” said Ron Hyggen, CEO of Kitsaki Management. “We believe in investing in our youth, fostering community pride, and creating opportunities that will positively impact the futures of our Indigenous athletes. Our employees’ passion for volunteering truly highlights our shared commitment to community growth.”
Embracing the spirit of continued support, Kitsaki Management has also committed to paying it forward by donating $25,000 to the Tony Cote Winter Games, which took place in Saskatoon in early April 2025. This contribution assisted organizers in preparing another impactful event, furthering Kitsaki’s legacy of fostering community wellness and Indigenous athletic excellence.
Kitsaki’s substantial sponsorship and active involvement illustrate the company’s commitment to the communities we partner with especially when it involves Indigenous youth across Saskatchewan.
