In 2023, the company saw significant growth, hiring 100+ new employees and launching six Foundational Software Tester Training programs and one Accelerated Course across Canada.

About the Company

As a 20% Kitsaki-owned company, PLATO Testing is committed to operational excellence, workforce inclusion, and industry partnerships. In 2023, PLATO scaled its Software Tester Training program to over 75 Indigenous trainees nationwide, supported by DIGITAL and the Government of Canada’s Sectoral Workforce Solutions Program. Additionally, PLATO’s SAP Canada partnership and collaboration with Deloitte have strengthened its reputation as a trusted software testing provider.

PLATO follows a train-and-employ model, providing Indigenous individuals with career opportunities in the tech industry. The program includes five months of in-class training, a paid internship, and guaranteed full-time employment. In 2023:

✔ 90 students completed the Foundations Software Tester Training course
✔ 4 students completed the Accelerated Program for candidates with prior IT experience
✔ Internal certifications were issued in Accessibility Testing, Data Testing, Content Migration, and Test Automation
